The Commando CMD-1X was nicknamed the Area Denial unit as it was always used by its pilot to alight water and ground alight making it hell for infantry and tank units while causing havoc on enemy mechwarriors who’s machines tend to run hot as it was and always tried to make it for the water for rapid cool down only to find the water in flames due to Inferno fire.

Copying the speed of the Mongoose and having max armor the 1X was able to take more of a pounding(not by much) than the normal Commando he is able to race head to do his work and then flee to the safety of the heavier units where he could move far to the edge of the battlefield to get behind the enemy lines and set their base on fire or to set fires behind the enemy units before fleeing again.

Using speeds that only a few could match was able to pull this off….

Combat history:
Seen within a small Mercenary the warrior was becoming infamous for his actions and whenever the enemy faced this mercenary unit they tried to keep an eye out for this commando and would target it the moment they seen it pulling away a few of their light units to go after at which didn’t matter as the pilot didn’t need to worry about aim to target ground or water.

Hey Dart Omega, I recommend placing the medium laser in the CT in the left arm for a wider firing arc like the other two medium lasers have.

if all your weapons are in your arms,
you are SOL if you loose the arms.
ML in the CT is a good "just in case" placement.
