I am pleased to announce a new image/file server available for hosting your images or files! You may have experienced some of the issues recently with a few of the well-known file hosting services, such as slow load times and overall problematic episodes. We wanted to alleviate these problems by offering a reliable repository that can host your files and deliver them quickly and effortlessly.
Introducing MyBattletech Media Server at http://media.mybattletech.com MyBattletech offers free hosting of a variety of file types, not just images. Host audio (mp3/midi/mid/wma/wav/ogg) or files (doc/txt/rtf/pdf/xls/pps/ppt) alongside your images. So long as your content abides by our policies (no pornography, violence, hate, racist or other harmful content will be allowed, including copyrighted content), we are glad to host it for you.
MyBattletech offers free accounts, providing 50 MB of storage space for your files. Most of you may just prefer to store your images and photographs, and easily hotlink them to any web site or message forum. MyBattletech makes this easy! In addition to our free plan, we also offer a premium package including 1 GB of storage, along with a personalized @MyBattletech.com email address, all for only $5/month! The great news is, if you choose to join the Knights of the Phoenix, you are automatically eligible for a free upgrade to the MyBattletech premium account!
We have 2 public albums available for images or files, and you can create your own personal galleries with your registered MyBattletech media server account. Your personal galleries can be left open to the public, or you can make them private.

Thanks, I am actually surprised though that not more people are using it. I announced it at several of the big sites and not many people signed up, even though its free. |

It will take a bit of time i think thats all, a soon as word gets around about a free photo hosting site that allows hot linking it should take off....

Please leave the public galleries for BT-related picture sonly, but feel free to use your personal galleries for almost anything. |

Ok, say I get written permission from TPTB to post a personally created .pdf format field manual (check the fanfic forum for details) that contains TRO art. Is it then okay to host it through MyBattletech?
I'm trying to get people to join my unit here on BTU. |
