Its really slow around here

Post by OLDZOAT » Wed Dec 18, 2013 7:46 am

:| Is it me or the whole BT community very quiet. I don't know. But I look at some of the other BT site really slower then normal for this time of year. The worst is BattleCorp they're deader then door nail. There more life here then BC. Maybe 2014 will be better for BT. Later

When I use to go regularly to the official forum there would be twenty pages of post. Now when I go it's about four. So if that is any measure then volumes are down.

Agreed. All the BattleTech sites are slow.
heck, most boardgaming sites are slow.
it aint just us.

I want to blog more... but what to blog about?
without a spark of muse, it's just a directionless ramble about non-sensical things than don't matter a whit to real life.

I really, really wish I could find a spark of interest to get me back into some of my hobbies but with working 6 days a week I find my off time is used for recuperating from work. I just need that time to shut out the day and veg on some TV or a book. I still have hopes of getting back to BT.... maybe someday.

I thought you were still teaching English out of your office next to the house?

Well, near my house but, yes, I still am AND I am teaching English in eight different elementary schools during the day. So, 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM in the elementary school of the day and from 4:00 PM to 8:00 or 9:00 PM at my school. Saturdays are at my school. I do get breaks in the afternoons if the school hasn't got me scheduled to teach.

Dude. Really. 6 days a week, 12-16 hours a day? YOWza.

You ought to unionize.
