Greetings, I’m new to this website. I've been playing BT games since the BT novels were first published. I didn't know how to post a reply to this topic until after I started experimenting with moving my mouse on the icons symbols to read their captions. Is BattleTech supposed to be spelled as BattleTech or as Battletech or is either spelling acceptable? Also, is BT supposed to be spelled as BT or as Bt or is either spelling acceptable?
When do I “retreat” ? Only when I want to re+treat myself to eating cookies here in VT of USA. Here in VT, outside temperatures can get very cold; I suppose my miniatures won’t get overheated, ha ha.

Greetings ELMSM!

Welcome to our corner of the BattleTech fandom.

I'm Steve, one of the Mod Team.

Thanks for bringing new ideas and questions to the forum.

We are looking forward to discussing the ideas and answering your questions.

First: BattleTech can be spelled in either manner & when abbreviating the name, either Bt or BT is acceptable. BT is generally more common usage, tho.

Thank you Steve Ronin for welcoming me to www.BattleTechUniverse.org and you’re welcome (I appreciate feedback on my ideas) and thank you for answering my questions.

Greetings you all,
My name is Bill Wilson and I’m learning BT rules and fiction. I purchased a copy of HMAero from Rick Raisley because I want to defeat Clan Ice Hellion; because if I remember correctly, that Clan uses aerospace units predominantly. I lost my password of my email account, and so I’m having eLMsm post replies (and hopefully new topics) for me because I can’t yet get registered here at BTU.

Hello Bill.

I suggest you create a new email account.

We don't usually allow for TWO entities on the same account.

Makes for confusion and sock puppetry.

thanks for joining us.

Hello Steve Ronin, I understand, and you’re welcome. I’ve used both of my phone numbers for both of my email accounts, and I’m still trying to find my password for both of them. My guardian hasn’t yet got me provided with a computer that I can install my brand new copy of HMAero yet, so there is going to be a while of time before I start posting aerospace designs topics at BT Design Bureau Forum.

Just to clarify, I do have two psychological disabilities: schizophrenia and paranoia.
