1st (3 points): Entry 7 - Excellent panelling and esthetic usage of the color green :)
2nd (2 points): Entry 1 - Solid and professional work. I would be happy to be able to paint like that.
3rd (1 point): Entry 13 - Over all fluid camo with colors blending well.

Good luck people and well done all!

Woohoo! I'm #10! :D

Now, can anyone guess what that's supposed to be on the base and/or identify where it came from? I can't even do the latter.

Congrats 00Dawg! That turned out great!

To be honest, I thought that was done by one of the CSO artists...

In addtion to #4, #1 was also mine, BTW

Thanks for the compliment! :D

Meanwhile, that "thing" on the base is a piece of metal that was in my bits box and was obviously cut to be a Draconis Combine logo. I have no idea where it came from, but it was on a strip that looked like it had other pieces that would make good "luggage" or sandbags (sort of) on a tank. Anyway, I got the notion to use it to make it look like a 'mech had just kicked down a Kuritan "welcome sign". Unfortunately, it didn't photograph well, particularly with the snow base for the Scarabus. Looks neat in person, though. 8)

Thats are from way back when FASA thought it would be a good idea not to waste anything from their products and started casting certain items on the pieces of excess spru thats usually just thrown away, the House Karita symbol was the only one ever done but along with the sand bags was also done some armour plateing. zac
