Dark realms Miniatures, possible BT alternate figures

Post by Teppudama »

I stumbled across this while searching Ebay for some vehicle alternates to use as custom pieces, and after looking through the manufacturer website, I have found many attractive pieces, just thought I would share the discovery since I couldn't find reference to them on here with the search function.

Take a look at the walkers and some of the vehicles, even some VTOLs and capital ships that look good.

I visted this site in the past (a few months ago),
nice catch. I'm wondering about the scale.
If someone got a few bits could they post a pic next to a well
known BT mini?

They look like they were using the epic scale 40K stuff to measure against. Means that the individual pieces are going to be pretty small compared to the BT stuff. Of course, I've been wrong before.

Well, they do claim to make it to 6mm scale, and they do make their own infantry, so I am hoping they will at least make decent light to medium mechs, as I ordered a 4 pack of Mantagen.

Read my blog, guys!!!
Already covered this ... and yes, the minis are VERY good.
each of the three I reviewed are very close in size to an IWM Heavy Tracked APC.

I purchased their 6mm Pax Arcadia Dropship a while back and modified it to be used as a Battle Taxi to deliver Special Force Infantry. Being just a dropper I never came up with stats. The quality was good, and detail was very good. If anyone is interested in what their dropship looks like I'll try to get some pics. up with comparison to a Mapscale Union.

Sorry it took me an extra day to post this photo, the camera and I were seperated for a couple days. Anyway heres the Dropship along with a Mapscale Union, Atlas and the drop box I created out of some Mechwarrior Tank body. As you can see it is not very big but has excellent detail.
