Cold Wars 2013
Below are our event listing for Cold Wars 2013 March 7th to 10th, I know it is up rather late but time has passed for me with being busy the last few months. The Convention is in Lancaster PA, address in on there website, www.coldwars.org . Also Iron Wind Metals will be there for your Metal needs and BV Traders will also be on hand with all of the Books.
F-339-342 - Battletech â€“ Grinder 1 - 4
Fri. 10AM to 10PM, 3 hrs each , 8 players
The Grinder is a free for all Battletech Demo game where new (or returning) players will be taught using the introductory Rules. You start out with a Light Mech and as you die, you advance up to the next weight class. The winner of this round will get a spot in the Grinder Championship Saturday evening.
F-345 - BattleForce: The Battle for Lone Star
Fri. 1:00 PM, 5 hrs, 8 players
Join the SLDF XLIV Corps in the battle to take back the Terran Hegemony Province Capital of Lone Star from the Amaris Empire forces. This even makes use of Battleforce rules from Strategic Operations, which will allow for large scale battles for the Star League Civil War. Come play a Company or more of Mechs.
F-343 - Battletech: Thieves in the Night
Fri. 10:00 AM, 5 hrs, 8 players
The suddenness of the Federated Suns incursion into Capellan space caught many of the border worlds completely off guard. But the Fourth Succession War had taught the CCAF painful lessons and certain forces had been trained for just such an event. While the local militia was quickly overwhelmed, the 3rd Capellan Confederation. The regiment broken down into smaller units and melted away into the landscape to harass the attackers.
F-344 - Battletech: Circle of Death
Fri. 5:00 PM, 5 hrs, 8 players
Welcome to the Circle of Death, where Teams of two MechWarriors will battle it out to win the Championship. Players can chose their own two mechs, up to 4,500 BV2 and can use any Tech Base. This also includes Tournament, Advanced and Experimental variants of Mechs. Gunnery and Piloting skills will be . and not modified by the BV2.

Sat. 5:00 PM, 6 hrs, 8 players
The Grinder Championship will determine who the best MechWarrior of the Grinder is. MechWarrior will start with a
Medium Mech and as you die, advance up to the next weight class. Once the player dies as an Assault Mech, you are done.
S-349 - Battletech: VampireTech
Sat. 10:00 AM, 6 hrs, 8 players
Your mighty BattleMech sometimes pales in comparison to the 'Mech of your enemy. Fix that by taking his 'Mech! In VampireTech, it's not just enough to kill your enemy, to win, you have to absorb them to gain their strength! Absolutely no sparkly 'Mechs allowed.
S-350 - Battletech: Poker Run
Sat. 6:00 PM, 4 hrs, 8 players
Poker Run is Battletech meets Poker with a bit of a twist. Each player will select a Mech and depending on the BV2, it will determine their G/P Skill. Players can earn and lose cards based on events each turn. Whoever has the best hand at the end of the game will win.
